About

Hi, I’m Julie

I'm the creative heart behind Art Adventure Mobile Art & Craft Studio.

Art Adventure began in Seattle during the COVID years, where I brought people together through online art classes, creative kits, and later, in-person workshops for non-profits, businesses, schools, community groups, and private events. After returning home to Australia, I'm now excited to begin a new creative Art Adventure here in beautiful Hervey Bay.

My passion has always been helping people discover that creativity isn't about being "good at art"—it's about having fun, expressing yourself, trying something new, and enjoying the journey. I love creating relaxed, welcoming spaces where everyone feels comfortable to explore their creativity.

Before starting Art Adventure, I spent four years teaching art to people of all ages and abilities at a non-profit art school in Seattle, while also managing its busy community drop-in art studio that I called my happy place. My experience there showed me just how powerful creativity can be in building confidence, fostering connection, and bringing communities together.

Since returning to Australia, I've worked as a Lifestyle Assistant in residential aged care and completed my Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (TAFE Queensland, 2024), strengthening my knowledge of creating meaningful, person-centred experiences.

Today, I bring unique, engaging art and craft experiences directly to lifestyle resorts, disability support providers, aged care communities, community groups, and special events. Every workshop is thoughtfully tailored to suit the interests, abilities, and needs of each group, creating meaningful opportunities for creativity, connection, confidence, and plenty of laughter along the way.

Here's to new beginnings, colourful adventures, and building stronger communities—one Art Adventure at a time.
